The largest immigrant population in Alaska (after Americans) are Filipinos, who have contributed much to Alaska since long before statehood. A government born in revolution and based on Judean-Christian values, the Republic of Philippines has known occupation by various other nations and Filipinos have fought valiantly for their cherished independence.
